Saudi Arabia Suspends Imports of Vehicles from 23 Chinese Manufacturers

Saudi Arabia has imposed a ban on the import of vehicles from 23 Chinese manufacturers, citing their failure to comply with regulatory requirements related to the submission of supply plans within the prescribed deadlines.

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) said the ban is temporary and will remain in force until the affected companies provide the required information and fulfil the relevant compliance requirements.

The ban also covers vehicles from six other brands. However, the largest number of affected manufacturers are Chinese companies, which US President Donald Trump has personally campaigned against.

The companies on the list are:
