Reuters, citing its sources a short while ago, reported that Saudi Arabia has contacted dozens of countries in an attempt to form a coalition to break the blockade affecting its maritime shipping.

Earlier this month, Yemen imposed a blockade on Saudi maritime navigation. Since then, Saudi vessels have reportedly been switching off their lights, disabling their electronic systems, and attempting to transit the Red Sea unlawfully. However, Yemen is said to detect these violations quickly and take punitive action against the vessels.
