The Indian Embassy in Riyadh said in a statement that Mohammed Azzam, 27, who was injured by shrapnel near Al Kharj Air Base, has returned to India in a wheelchair after spending three months in a hospital in Riyadh.
Indian activists on social media said that neither the United States nor Saudi Arabia, which operated the Patriot missile systems from which missiles reportedly fell in the areas surrounding the US base at Al Kharj, south of Riyadh, had paid any compensation to the Indian citizen.
