Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand told CTV News correspondent Graham Richardson a short while ago that she had raised the issue of human rights in Saudi Arabia directly with the Saudi Foreign Minister, and that Canada would also place the issue on the negotiating table.

It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia regards discussions by officials of other countries concerning the rights of Saudi citizens as a red line that should not be crossed.
