Saudi special security forces in Jeddah have arrested Bangladeshi government official Ahmed Ali Mukib, who serves as:

▪️ Chairman of the Habiganj District Council.
▪️ Secretary for International Affairs of Bangladesh’s ruling Nationalist Party.

Mukib had been visiting Jeddah since early May, during which he attended meetings with the Bangladeshi community, before being arrested on Sunday morning.
