Families of American soldiers: Our sons told us, with photos, about the destruction of an early warning aircraft at Alkharj base south of Riyadh

Families of American soldiers from Oklahoma have circulated photos of a US E-3 Sentry AWACS early warning aircraft destroyed at Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, south of Riyadh, as a result of an Iranian strike.

The aircraft had been transferred from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma to Prince Sultan Air Base in Riyadh to support the Israeli-American war operations against Iran.

The aircraft is operated by military personnel from Oklahoma, who reportedly took the initiative to send photos of its destruction to their families.

The destroyed aircraft functioned as a radar platform for detecting missiles and drones, directing fighter aircraft, and managing air operations in their entirety.
