showed that 70 Saudi companies had either actually gone bankrupt or begun bankruptcy proceedings.
This brings the number of Saudi companies that have gone bankrupt or entered bankruptcy proceedings from 1 January 2026 to the end of August 2026 to 489 companies, as follows:
