Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at a press conference moments ago that India is closely monitoring developments regarding the signing of the defence agreement between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

It is worth noting that:

• India has a defence agreement with the UAE.
• Saudi Arabia is engaged in a heated dispute with the UAE.
• India is engaged in a heated dispute with Pakistan.

This could lead to increased tensions and instability in the region, which prompted the Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson to say: “We are closely monitoring.”
