The Nigerian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Yakub Gambo, said during a meeting with the Chair of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja, that many Nigerians imprisoned in Saudi Arabia have already completed their prison sentences but have not been released because the Saudi authorities are demanding that they pay fines. Without payment of those fines, they will not be released.
