Saudi Arabia announced a short while ago that it had foiled an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs concealed inside a coach bearing Syrian registration plates, which had attempted to enter through the Al Haditha border crossing linking Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The seized coach was one of the vehicles imported into Syria from Turkey several months ago on behalf of, and owned by, Hazem al-Sharaa, the brother of Abu Mohammed al-Jolani, the head of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.
