Two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea complied with orders from the Yemeni Armed Forces today and turned back towards the port of Yanbu after attempting to reach the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
The two tankers were carrying millions of barrels of Saudi oil and were heading towards India before receiving orders from Yemen, which has imposed a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia.
Yemen says it will not lift the blockade on Saudi Arabia unless the blockade on Yemen is lifted, describing this as reciprocal and fair treatment, according to the Yemeni government.
