Data from the Saudi Bankruptcy Commission (“Eisar”) covering the courts of Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah and Buraidah show that 64 Saudi companies were either declared bankrupt or initiated bankruptcy proceedings during June.
This brings the total number of Saudi companies that have either been declared bankrupt or commenced bankruptcy proceedings between 1 January and the end of June 2026 to 375, as follows:
- June: 64 companies
- May: 63 companies
- April: 55 companies
- March: 55 companies
- February: 48 companies
- January: 72 companies
