The European Saudi Organisation for Human Rights said it will take part today in a global congress against the death penalty, scheduled to be held on Tuesday in the French capital, Paris.
The organisation said it aims to highlight the Saudi case within the broader international debate on the death penalty, draw attention to individual cases of people facing execution, examine the best legal and human rights avenues to prevent death sentences from being carried out, and strengthen cooperation with international and regional organisations working in this field.
