In a development suggesting a significant escalation in the financial pressures facing Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and shortly after offering a number of Aramco’s real-estate assets for sale, the company has begun marketing four additional assets as part of an effort to raise approximately US$50 billion.
The assets reportedly being offered are:
▪️ Yellowstone Project – sulphur operations, valued at US$7 billion.
▪️ Oil export terminals, valued at US$25 billion.
▪️ Hydro Project, valued at US$500 million.
▪️ Gas-fired power stations, valued at US$4 billion.
▪️ Company buildings and employee housing complexes, valued at US$11 billion.
The combined value of the assets is estimated at roughly US$50 billion.
