The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, headquartered in London, has launched a dedicated timeline page tracking developments in the case of Pakistani worker Arshad Muhammad, who died while working on the Aramco Stadium project in Al Khobar in March 2025. According to the organisation, his family has yet to receive compensation or other entitlements related to his death.

Arshad reportedly fell from an elevated crane platform at the construction site, resulting in fatal injuries. The incident has prompted allegations that project management failed to implement adequate workplace safety measures.

As part of its monitoring efforts, the organisation sent a formal letter to Aramco seeking information about compensation for the victim’s family and the rights arising from a workplace death on the project.

The letter has been published as part of the case timeline, and the organisation stated that it has not received a response from Aramco to date.
